Camden County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Andy McNeil said the shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of a business on Crescent Boulevard in Haddon Township, right at the border with Camden.

Eighteen-year-old Tyimer Bright, of Camden, was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead early Monday at Cooper University Hospital. A 17-year-old Camden girl was in stable condition there with a gunshot wound, while a 16-year-old Camden girl was treated for a graze wound.

A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.

Prosecutors declined to disclose further details on the shooting, including what type of weapon was used or how many shooters may have been involved.

While the business is located in Camden, McNeil said the border of Camden and Haddon Township runs through the parking lot. The area where the shooting occurred in the parking lot was determined to be in Haddon Township. Detectives used maps of the area and measured the distances.
