Man in Bayonne Murder-Suicide Recently Went to Range

A northern New Jersey man who fatally shot his wife, another man and an infant before killing himself Monday night practiced shooting at a Pennsylvania range last month.

Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio tells The Star-Ledger of Newark that Adepso Collado went to the range with one other person and practiced on a semi-automatic pistol like the one used Monday.

DeFazio wouldn't say where the shooting range was or who the 28-year-old Collado traveled with to get there.

Collado doesn't have a gun permit in New Jersey and it was unknown how the gun was obtained.
