NEW YORK — A man on a jet ski was critically injured after he collided into a boat off Liberty Island on Sunday.

The 26-year-old was found unconscious after the crash around 11 a.m. and suffered a head injury, according to the New York Daily News, and was removed from the water at the Brooklyn Army Terminal.

A trail of blood went between the ambulance and the NYPD Harbor Unit rescue boat, according to the report.

A jet ski belonging to a person with the man was towed into the terminal. It's not known what happened to the man's jet ski.

NJ.com reported the man was the only one injured in the incident.
