Man arrested in 2012 Camden killing

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — The U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force has arrested a man wanted in 2012 New Jersey slaying in Florida.

Authorities took 32-year-old Tino Cruz into custody at a friend’s home in Jacksonville, Florida.

Cruz is charged with murder in the 2012 death of 55-year-old Georgianna Jedrzejewski. She was stabbed to death on a street in Camden.

The recently formed Camden County Police cold case unit found witnesses who described Cruz as the suspect.

Cruz is facing extradition back to New Jersey.
