Man accused of starting fire that damaged New Jersey home
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (AP) -- Prosecutors say a man allegedly set fire to a couch outside a northern New Jersey home, causing damage to the home and injuring a resident.
Andry Mroz faces two counts of aggravated arson and two weapons charges. His bail was set at $75,000 cash, and it wasn't known if he has retained an attorney.
The fire at the Lakeshore Drive home in Parsippany was reported early Wednesday. Morris County prosecutors say the 27-year-old Morz was arrested at the scene, but authorities did not disclose a possible motive.
One resident of the home suffered minor injuries when they tried to extinguish the fire.
