Man, 27, found dead near NJ Post Office, authorities say

RIDGEFIELD — Authorities are investigating the death of a 27-year-old man whose body was found Sunday in Bergen County.

According to a statement from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, the man was found in the vicinity of the Ridgefield Post Office. The type of fatal injuries the man suffered has not been released, but authorities say his death is being investigated as a homicide.

Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Maureen Parenta said Sunday that the man's next-of-kin has not yet been notified. She said the investigation remains active and ongoing and no additional information is being provided at this point.
