It was the night before the night that changed America. Over 600 people came to Resorts Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City to See The Mahoney Brothers Long Live The Beatles.

The worlds longest living Beatles tribute band, just back from performing throughout Europe, covered the many phases of the Beatles. The set included 4 wardrobe changes and a video presentation that brought you back to where America was while this incredible band was thriving. As I said while introducing the band, “Thanks to the baby boomers, there were more teenagers in America than ever before and our young President had just been assassinated, the stage was set”.

The boys rocked from their opening I Wanna Hold Your Hand and never let down. Among the songs the Mahoney Brothers performed that the Beatles never did live were “A Day In The Life’ and the “Golden Slumbers Medley” which brought the show to a close as a packed house cheered. They then returned for an encore of “All You Need is Love.”

All that greta music from the Mahoney Brothers sent us home ready to watch the Grammy Salute to The Beatles on Sunday night.
