NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League and Sammy’s Hope to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes.

Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.

Adopt Magee

Magee is a sweet 4-year-old female who misses her home and is having a difficult time adjusting to being in the shelter. She was surrendered to us because her owner is moving and can no longer keep her. She has never been around any children since she lived in a home with a senior person. Magee also lived with another cat, her sister, who is the same age.  She loves to be caressed and petted on her neck and back.

If you are interested in meeting Maggie or fostering/adopting her, please email us at cats@sammyshope.org. You can download a PDF copy of the adoption application form here or you can see more adoptable cats from Sammy’s Hope here.

Adopt Rosie

Rosie is an American Staffordshire terrier and Italian Greyhound mix.  She's a sweet young dog that was found wandering the streets.  While she can be shy and scared, she's incredibly friendly in all situations.  She's doing well in weekly training classes and will continue to need training once adopted.

If you're interested in learning more about Rosie or to schedule a visit, email dogs@easelnj.org. Find more of EASEL’s adoptable dogs, puppies here or download a PDF copy of the application form here.

Cassie is an American Staffordshire terrier mix who came in as a stray.  She's very sweet and well mannered.  Cassie showers us with kisses when we are with her. She's had some training and thoroughly enjoys being rewarded with small treats. We love walking her because she enjoys her exercise time so much!

If you're interested in meeting Cassie or fostering/adopting her, please email us at info@sammyshope.org. You can download a PDF copy of the application form here or you can see more adoptable dogs from Sammy’s Hope here.

Beau was pulled from an outside colony since he clearly was a social guy who would do well in a home. He's a very gentle, friendly and playful guy.  Beau is currently living in a foster home.

To schedule a visit to meet Beau, please email kitty@easelnj.org or call 609-883-0540. Find more of EASEL’s adoptable cats and kittens here, or download a PDF copy of the application form here.
