NORTH BRUNSWICK — Police are asking for assistance in identifying a man they say broke into another person's residence and assaulted a woman inside.

On July 1, police say, a male entered a Bradley Court home while the residents were inside. The male grabbed a piece of jewelry from the victim, pushed her to the floor and then fled the residence, police said.

An investigation by the North Brunswick Police Department uncovered surveillance footage of the suspect running from the area.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to avoid confronting him and to contact the investigating detective at 732-247-0922 ext. 312.
