Martin Villalobos of Lodi also was ordered Monday to pay $16,000 in restitution to victims and register as a sex offender. He also will have to serve five years of supervised release once he's released from prison.

Villalobos was convicted in January on two counts each of distributing and receiving child porn and one count of possessing child porn. In determining Villalobos' sentence, the judge took into account his previous abuse of an unconscious woman with mental disabilities, an act prosecutors say Villalobos recorded.

The 41-year-old Villalobos was arrested in August 2011 after investigators executed a search warrant at his home and found him in his locked bedroom with eight computer hard drives, more than 100 DVDs and other electronic media. The warrant was obtained after federal authorities discovered an individual who was sharing images of child sexual abuse online and traced the material to Villalobos' computer.

Prosecutors say the materials they found included more than 5,400 photographs and more than 160 videos of children engaging in sex acts with one another and with adults. Other evidence showed Villalobos routinely used the Internet to solicit, receive and distribute child porn.
