An 18-year old teen from Lincoln Park is suing her parents after she claims she was thrown out of the home.

NJ.com and the Daily Record of Parsippany says that Rachel Canning filed her lawsuit last week.

Canning is looking for immediate financial support and wants to force her parents to pay for her college education. she is also requesting that the judge declare that Canning is not emancipated and that she is still dependent on her parents as a student and needs her parents support.

Should Canning be allowed to sue her parents at the age of 18 for support? Or is this another case of the inmates running the asylum?
