GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Officials suspect a lightning strike may be to blame for a smoky condition that forced the evacuation of a school in Gloucester Township.

Police found light smoke in one building at Our Lady of Hope School on Tuesday morning.

Firefighters discovered evidence of smoldering damage outside the building.

No one was injured.

Students and teachers were allowed back in the building after firefighters finished their investigation.
