One of my favorite experiences growing up with my Dad was going to see the Harlem Globetrotters. No matter how many time we saw them, they never got old, especially when the stunts were being performed by the likes of Meadowlark Lemon and Curly Neal. This Saturday, I'm going to continue that tradition by taking my sons to the Sun Bank Arena to see basketball at its funniest.

What’s great about seeing the Globetrotters is that after the game, they pose for pictures and talk hoops with the kids. Watching my kids have such a great time takes me back to when my Dad took me to the games.

Another great thing about the team is how fun they are. The Globetrotters surprised commuters on the SEPTA train from Trenton to North Philadelphia. Then, they continued on the Broad Street Line to Wells Fargo Center in South Philly – spinning basketballs and performing tricks the entire way. Imagine the surprise of commuters taking the subway from Trenton to North Philly when “Sweet Georgia Brown” started playing and the Harlem Globetrotters walked on!

If you would like to check out the Globetrotters for yourself, look at their full schedule here.
