FAIR LAWN — An author is being sued by a Fair Lawn woman who alleges he recorded her on video as she tried on clothes in the bathroom of his home.

According to NJ.com, the now 19-year-old woman is suing Nicolas Sunday, 69, saying she suffered humiliation, physical and emotional injury and negligence. She also seeks $1,000 cash for each time Sunday recorded her.

The report describes the lawsuit saying the woman, then 17, was hired by Sunday in 2014 to take care of household chores and clerical tasks at his home. He was arrested on a warrant in 2015 and charged with invasion of privacy and tampering according to the report, after he destroyed some of the video. He pleaded guilty to fourth-degree stalking and was sentenced to probation.

Sunday bought her dresses, bras and underwear, and she would try them over her clothes a Ridgewood Daily Voice report describes Assistant Bergen County Prosecutor Brian Sinclair telling a Superior Court Judge. Sunday used a camera hidden inside a clock radio in the bathroom to record her and created a makeshift runway for her to use, the prosecutor reportedly said. The report also quotes the prosecutor saying the footage included her confronting Sunday when she discovered the camera.

Sunday is the author of several legal books such as "Principles of International Finance" and "Law and Public Policy."
