Late Construction Holds Up Parkway Commuters
Late running construction on the Garden State Parkway caused a 15 mile delay for morning commuters.
Garden State Parkway northbound at exit 145.
3 lanes were closed for work at exit#155 (Route 46 in Clifton) causing delays back to at least exit 145 for I-280 in West Orange.
"The work is now cleared, no kidding" joked New Jersey 101.5 Fast Traffic's Bob Williams when he got word of all lanes being opened at 8:15AM. There was a miscommunication about the status of the work being cleared earlier in the morning.
