Where else can you catch a glimpse of these majestic animals roaming around in packs in their natural habitat?

At the Lakota Wolf Preserve, you'll learn everything there is to know about wolves in NJ with knowledgeable tour guides who teach you about wolf behavior, history and habits.

Visitors can take photos of the wolves as they play, eat or interact with one another.

The wolves come right up to the fence and your guide will explain how the wolf cubs at the preserve are socialized with humans.

HOURS, PRICING, LOCATION:

The wolf preserve has two daily wolf watches and each tour lasts about one and a half hour.  Visitors interested in taking a wolf watching tour should meet at the Camp Taylor Office. Tours are offered Tuesdays through Fridays at 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. but visitors are urged to register half-hour prior.  Appointments are required for weekday visits and can be made by calling 1-877-733-9653.

Appointments are not necessary on the weekends but visitors are reminded to register half our prior to the event.

Visitors are urged to wear proper footwear, as open-toed sandals or open-backed shoes are not permitted.

Wolf Watching tours cost $16.06 for adults 12-years-old and older and $7.49 for children 2 to 11-years-old. Lakota Wolf Preserve does not accept credit cards so be sure you bring cash.
