Lakewood’s Tent City Leader Steve Brigham Arrested

Steve Brigham, the leader of Lakewood's Tent City is facing charges of vandalism and witness tampering.

Township police say Steve Brigham was arrested yesterday evening and transported to county jail.

Lakewood Police were in Tent City to investigate an incident about the theft of scrap metal and spoke with a woman who lives there.

After police left, Brigham asked the woman to leave Tent City.
When she refused, the woman says Brigham began to take down her tent using a pair of scissors.

When police returned, they found Brigham still in possession of the scissors and placed him under arrest.
