Police arrested one of the three men involved in Monday night Lakewood home invasion that ended with a resident being shot in his head.

The suspect was charged with attempted murder. The other two suspects remain at large, police said Tuesday.

A 32-year-old resident of Eisenhower Street was shot in the head after the three men burst into the home demanding money. The trio then fled on foot,
Lakewood police said.

Police later got a call about a suspicious person on Dorchester Drive, a short walk away, and arrested Terence Ousley, 27, of Asbury Park. He was charged with attempted murder, burglary, robbery, possession of a handgun and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.

The victim was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune and is expected to survive.
