The upside is it may give you nice feelings of nostalgia. This video puts a rotary phone in front of young kids who've either never seen one or only saw one in a movie. Then the quizzing begins. What's the sound you hear when you first pick up the receiver mean? No one knew. What's that pesky busy signal mean? No one knew. Seeing them trying to dial is comical. Watching these kids trying to use a rotary phone is the same as watching them try to choke down green beans.
