Child Reprimanded for Using the ‘G’ Word [AUDIO]

Today on the Dennis and Judi Show a recent incident at a Millstone school was discussed.  A friend of the show, Cheryl, called in to talk about how her 6-year-old son was reprimanded for using the word "gun".

Cheryl's son is in Kindergarten and his homework assignment was to find 6 pictures that start with the letter of the week, then write out that word. The letter for this particular week was "G".  So, Cheryl helped her son find the pictures and one of them was of a cartoon gun.  Sure enough, this was a problem for the school.

Cheryl's son was summoned to the office for using a bad word.  This bad word, is now known only as the "G" word...Gun.
