Kenny Chesney Kicks Off Summer in Style During Free Concert in Wildwood [VIDEO]
For Country superstar Kenny Chesney, what better way to kick off the summer than with a new album and a concert on the beach with 20,000 of his newest friends from New Jersey? Well that's exactly the way it went down last night on the beach in Wildwood during the free show Chesney put on for his fans in celebration of his new album "Welcome to the Fishbowl."
Chesney rocked the crowd for almost 2 hours last night with sing-a-long hits like 'Anything but Mine,' 'Summertime' and 'No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems.' The hits were just part of the special evening, as Chesney played songs such as 'On the Coast of Somewhere Beautiful (a song he rarely performs live),' 'My Old Blue Chair,' and 'Guitars & Tiki Bars,' all songs which he has not yet performed on his current tour.
Although the biggest surprise may have come when he added some jersey flavor to the show by performing Bruce Springsteen's 'Hungry Heart,' a song that Chesney admitted to the crowd that he hasn't performed live since college.
