Authorities say a New Jersey man faces drug charges after he left cocaine in a sweatshirt that he loaned to his girlfriend's 11-year-old son.

Keansburg police tell the Asbury Park Press of Neptune that the boy was sitting in school Tuesday when he found some aluminum foil inside a sweatshirt pocket. He opened the foil and discovered a powdery substance, which he immediately showed his teacher. Testing later determined it was cocaine.

Authorities then went to the apartment where the boy lived with his mother and 34-year-old Haneef Clowers. They found some marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $2,165 in cash.

Clowers was charged with various drug-related offenses and child endangerment. He was later released on $35,000 bail.

A telephone number for Clowers could not be located Wednesday night.
