Kate Bush is a huge star in her native UK, not as much here.

She’s a Commander of the Order of the British Empire due to her contribution to music; she has charted 25 UK Top 40 singles. In the US, she was not as successful, with only 5 Top 100 singles, of which one, “Running Up That Hill” cracked the Top 40. The song was originally titled, “A Deal With God”, but her record label didn’t want “god” in the title, so Bush re-titled it, although the lyric referencing the deal with god stayed. It peaked at number 3 in the UK, but stalled at number 30 in the US in 1985; it was still her highest charting US release.

And, no, Big Joe didn’t play it for me.
