Justina, Mikey, Samson and Hannah need forever homes [NJ Pets of the Week]

NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League and Friends of EMAS (Edison Municipal Animal Shelter) to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes. Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.

Adopt Justina

Justina is a sweet girl who is not shy. She absolutely loves to be petted. She came in with six other cats due to the fact that their owners passed away.

Adopt Mikey

Mikey is a happy young Labrador Retriever and American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He likes to play and go on walks, but needs some training on manners and patience like any young dog does. Mikey lacks focus when there is a distraction, but he's very smart and knows how to listen. He will sit patiently when his leash is being put on so that he can go on a walk.

Adopt Samson

Samson is the latest addition to the Edison Municipal Animal Shelter! He's a young Pit Bull mix who is always happy and ready for a fun time. You will notice him right away by his adorable sweet face, his kind eyes and his pearly white teeth. Samson came in as a stray, but that does not seem to bother him at all because his body language is very positive and his tail is always wagging. He loves to go on long walks and at the end of his walk, he likes hanging out while being petted. He would make an awesome buddy! Samson has lots of youthful energy and just wants to be with people. He would thrive in a home with lots of play, exercise, daily walks, formal training and lots of love and affection.

Adopt Hannah

Hannah is about 7 months old.  She's shy, but does greet people when they enter the room.  She loves to play with her toys and is very talkative.  Hannah is tolerable of being held, but would much rather lean against people and be petted. She gets along well with other cats and will try and wrestle with them once they get to know each other.  She does everything in moderation so you will get playtime, love time and quiet time.  Hannah is fully vetted and microchipped.
