Al & Sam's Canoe/Kayak at Bay Day

Celebrate Bay Day with free safety, rental, and retail information. Display and sale of kayaks and paddling accessories. Noon - 6 pm. Opening Reception - Over The Bridge

Alice in Wonderland - Live Children's Theatre

On a golden afternoon, young Alice follows a white rabbit who disappears down a nearby rabbit hole. Quickly following him, she tumbles into the burrow and enters the topsy-turvy world of Wonderland! Whimsical escapades and unforgettable characters highlight Alice's journey which concludes in a whacky encounter with the Queen of Hearts and her army of playing cards! Don't be late for this very important date!  The Broadway Theatre of Pitman's live Children's Theatre calls fantasy and imagination to the stage with performances designed by Mr. Malcolm to educate, entertain, and inspire. Children's Theatre is best appreciated by children ages 3 to 9. Using a mix of creative sets, music and live actors, each one-hour performance is filled with audience participation that captivates children with its fun and original theatrical style. 11th Annual OLG Funfest

Welcome Summer with the OLG FunFest offering fun for the whole family. Children will be amazed with pony rides, face-painting, and bouncy houses. The whole family can join in the fun with festival games, a tricky tray, a used book sale, and a 50/50 raffle. Vendors will also be on hand, selling arts, crafts, jewelry and more. Keyport GardenWalk

A free, walking/biking tour of approximately 40 public and private gardens in historic Keyport, NJ (Monmouth County). 19th Annual Barnegat Bay Festival

Enjoy over 100 environmental organizations, bay-oriented artisans, marine touch tank, workshops, canoe eco-tours, kayak and pontoon boat tours, local musicians and much more. The festival runs from 10 am - 4 pm and is handicapped accessible. This is a free, family oriented festival (co-sponsored by the Barnegat Bay Partnership and the Barnegat Bay Foundation) that celebrates the Barnegat Bay as a treasured natural resource for all who live here or visit here as tourists. Through environmental education, art & crafts, special children's presentations and hands-on activities, all ages learn how they can help to protect the Barnegat Bay, its history, and its culture.

Appel Farm's Music & Wine Festival

Appel Farm is partnering with the Vintage Atlantic Wine Region to produce this special wine festival celebrating the collaboration of six unique wine trails spanning New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. Visitors can taste specialty vintage wines, listen to acclaimed musicians from the Delaware Valley, browse the crafts fair, create art at the Discover Your Arts tent, and enjoy food from local culinary artists. Families are also welcome to bring the kids and play in our Kids Zone. As a unique twist to traditional wine festivals, guests are invited to stay overnight in Appel Farm's modern housing facilities to enjoy additional festivities including dinner, private concert by Joe DiVita Steel Drums, dessert wine pairing with s'mores and breakfast the next morning. Guests are also invited to join a pre-Festival South Jersey cycling tour of Salem County to see the beautiful countryside including some of the featured wineries from the Festival.

3rd Annual Spring Festival - Open House / EAP Demo

Once a year Spring Reins of Life 501c3 invites the public to an Open House at the private facility where we work. This provides an opportunity for the curious public to see the facility, meet the Herd of healers and witness/participate in a EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy) Demo. Food Truck on site, ample parking, Live Music (Danny Rongo), Crafts, Prizes, Family Friendly. Spring Reins of Life is an EAGALA Model certified program and HIPAA compliant. We are a volunteer run nonprofit whose mission is to serve trauma survivors in NJ who either do not want to, or simply cannot "talk about it" with the guidance & assistance of HORSES (un-mounted)!
