It's the age old Jersey dilemma: How should you eat pizza?

Do you fold it or eat it flat? Start at the crust first or point first? Save all the the crusts for last? Do you eat it with a knife and fork?

People get downright defensive about their pizza-eating habits. They'll claim it's an ethnic preference, a geographical choice, or even a personality distinction. Some people actually get insulted if you eat pizza in a way they deem improper!

It's so polarizing that to everyone in New Jersey, there's one right way and then just a lot of wrong ways. There's one unstudied method that only parents (or grandparents) of small kids know. I found this method to be tried and true when my kids were small. So I've adopted it for my grandkids as well.

Turning a pizza slice into bite-size pieces breaks a lot of pizza rules but it saves you from a huge mess when it comes to feeding toddlers. But I must warn you:  The following photo is gonna be upsetting to a lot of pizza purists!
