The parties will convene November 20 in Trenton. U.S. District Judge Michael Shipp's temporary restraining order stopping New Jersey from allowing legal sports betting expires the day after.

Shipp issued the order last Friday, derailing Monmouth Park racetrack's plans to accept sports wagers on Sunday. The leagues and NCAA are seeking a preliminary injunction to extend the ban.

The two sides disagree over whether the state can repeal its prohibitions against sports gambling and not violate a 1992 federal law.

On Tuesday, Shipp also ordered the leagues to post a $3.4 million bond to cover potential lost earnings for Monmouth Park.
