Fans of "Jersey's Favorite Hits", weekends on New Jersey 101.5 will be thrilled they can take a trip back to high school and 1982 (sort of) when Journey, Loverboy and Pat Benatar visit Atlantic City this summer!

The tour launches this July in California, with shows scheduled nationwide and will continue until the end of the year.

As Journey fans know, original  front man, Steve Perry no longer tours or records with the band.  Journey's current lead vocalist, Arnel Pineda, who sounds incredibly close to the sound of Mr. Perry, has been a member of the band since 2007.  Mr. Pineda is from the Philippines.  Pineda's story is one "from rags to riches".  He was homeless as a child then joined his first band at 15.  In 2006 he sang with Filipino band "The Zoo" and performed cover songs from many American bands, including Journey.  Arnel was discovered through YouTube videos by Journey's Neil Schon who sent Pineda and email inviting him to audition for the band.  Arnel was signed by  the band in December of 2007.  The band toured in 2008 and introduced a new album that peaked at #5 on Billboards Top 200 chart.  Journey's song "Don't Stop Believing" has become a multi generational hit and was featured in the final scene of the Soprano's.

Loverboy's big 80's hit "Working For The Weekend" still receives regular air play on many classic hit stations nationwide. Other big hits from the band include "Lovin' Every Minute Of It" and "This Could Be The Night".

Pat Benatar was born in Brooklyn, raised on Long Island and had 16 Top 40 hits in the 80's including "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", "Love Is A Battlefield" and "We Belong".

All three legendary 80's bands visit Atlantic City this summer and will be performing at Revel's Ovation Hall on August 11th.
