Joe Paterno Has Lung Cancer Says Son
Scott Paterno said in a statement provided to the Associated Press that his father Joe Paterno has a treatable form of lung cancer.
The 84 year old former head coach of Penn State brought down by a child sexual abuse scandal is undergoing treatment. The younger Paterno said that his father's doctors are optimistic JoePa will make a full recovery.
