Jim Gearhart Show callers share what they think should be done with Revel

Revel’s closing leaves a lot of questions for the future of Atlantic City – one of them being ‘what should be done with the empty building?’ Listeners of the Jim Gearhart show called in to give their suggestions about how the hotel could be used.

Turn the Revel into a sports venue.

Brian in Medford

The hotel could be used as a culinary school.

Flo in Whitehouse Station

Convert the building into a nursing home/assisted living facility.

Bob in Lincroft

Use the space for a Veteran’s Hospital

Other suggestions included a water park with different areas suitable for different age groups, and an indoor amusement park. Callers thought this would create a family friendly atmosphere for Atlantic City.
