A listener brought to my attention the curious "hastening" of a bill that will affect EMS services in Camden County.

If passed, the legislation would give Cooper University Health Care authority over paramedic services in Camden County, causing the area's current provider, Virtua, to lose business. Oddly enough, Virtua has provided advanced life support services in this region for nearly four decades, but the quality of their coverage does not seem to be at issue. So what's underneath this story?

Find out by listening to the Youtube clip below, where I talk with a paramedic who works in Camden County.
