Jewelry Store in Oakland Burglarized

Police say someone broke a hole in a wall to rob a jewelry store in northern New Jersey.

The heist at Alpha Jewelry in Oakland took place over the weekend.

Police Lt. Christian Eldridge tells The Record newspaper the thief gained access after breaking through the wall of an adjacent real-estate agency.

Police did not say how much jewelry was taken.
