Jax, who has been described as "the ultimate cool-girl" and "crazy-talented," combines a unique, dynamic voice with Jersey girl moxie that has attracted fans from the Garden State, across the nation and around the world.

On New Jersey 101.5's Dennis and Judi program, Jax said she feels a special connection with her "Jax-pack."

"It's like they don't just notice me, they're my friend, and I think that's the coolest thing, they feel like they actually know me," she said, "I wear my heart on my sleeve, to the point where they can really relate so hard to who I am."

She told Dennis and Judi when she decides on a song, the rendition she ultimately performs is all about what's in her heart.

"The thing is when I rehearse nobody really gets it until it's out there," she said. "So it's like I'm going to do a Britney Spears song and they're like, question-mark, ok, if you wanna, good luck."

Jax also said working with and competing against the other Idol singers is amazing.

"I love being around these people, everybody sounds so different but there's really no competition behind the scenes," she said. "We just keep making each other better in different ways. Everybody brings so much to the table, it's awesome, it's like the high school I never went to."

Home-schooled by her parents, Jax has never lost appreciation for mom and dad.

"They've always been supportive since I was literally 3," she said. "I've always been performing, I've been an entertainer since before I cold talk."
