Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” In Rehab – Report
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has checked into rehab according to TMZ.
The Jersey Shore star is not in rehab but, according to his rep “has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule.”
Mike Sorrentino himself was cryptic on his Facebook and Twitter page posting, "Don't believe everything you read or hear."
He tweeted on his Twitter account, "Getting in amazing shape for season 6" according to E! Online.
Although Sorrentino makes up to $50,000 for a nightclub appearance, co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi revealed in a GQ interview last fall that her co-star is having financial difficulties. 'I’m not going to spend money like Mike. He’s already broke," she told the magazine.
MTV announced on Monday that the show will return for a sixth season and will return to Seaside Heights for shooting.
A 5th season reunion show airs Thursday night on MTV with the entire cast expected to appear on the pre-taped program. The Situation, in previews of the show, walks off the set after being confronted by Snooki and J-Woww about stirring up trouble in the house.
