Help These NJ Shelter Pets Find Homes [NJ Pets of the Week]

NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League and Sammy’s Hope to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes.

Help us find these pets homes by sharing this info with family members, friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.
Kaylee is an affectionate adult female who was picked up as a stray and never claimed. She is estimated to be anywhere from nine months to one year old. Kaylee has a lot of energy and likes to play, she is well-behaved at events and travels wonderfully in the car. She is very sweet and seems fine around other dogs.

To schedule a visit with Kaylee or for more information, email dogs@easelnj.org. Find more of EASEL’s adoptable dogs, puppies here or download a PDF copy of the application form here.

Shadow is a beautiful 2-year-old cat who was surrendered to the Edison Municipal Animal Shelter when her family could no longer take care of her. Shadow is happy to play with you or just cuddle. She’s an all-around people pleaser. Shadow is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations.

If you’re interested in meeting Shadow, email cats@sammyshope.org for more information. You can download a PDF copy of the adoption application form here or you can see more adoptable cats from Sammy’s Hope here.

Emily is a super-friendly, affectionate girl who is looking for a home. This enthusiastic pup has lots of energy so she would love a family who can do fun things with her and provide her with space to run and play.  Emily gets along with other dogs she’s met at the Edison Municipal Animal Shelter and she knows some basic commands, has been spayed, and is current on all of her vaccinations.

To learn more about Emily or to schedule a visit, please contact Sammy’s Hope by email at info@sammyshope.org. You can download a PDF copy of the application form here or you can see more adoptable dogs from Sammy’s Hope here.
