Joey Chestnut won the hot-dog eating contest at Nathans after eating 70 hot dogs and 10 buns in 10 minutes.

That could never happen in New Jersey because our hot dogs were not made to be gulped down in seconds. Jersey hot dogs were made to be slowly enjoyed for the great taste that they have.

Seriously, could you really gulp down a Callahan's dog in Norwood, or a deep-fried dog from Rut's Hut in Clifton? Absolutely not! New Jersey has the best hot dogs whether you get a Sabrett from the street vendor or a “Thunderdog” (so good Bruce should sing about it!) at the ball game.

New Jersey is hot dog heaven and it's proven time and again with the places that serve them.
