Regarding the meter inspections, JCP&L are working with the municipalities to have homes that have lost their power due to flooding, to have those homes inspected by town officials, then the power will be turned back on by JCP&L after given the green light by the town inspectors.

Morano said that this is the safest way for homes to have their power restored and a practice that has always been used by the utility companies. The DCA is working with the municipalities and JCP&L to expedite the process of pin-pointing homes that are in need of inspection.
