Finally, the rumors have been confirmed. Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 5 next Wednesday at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater. With so much anticipation, there are already estimates that Apple will sell anywhere between 6 to 10 million iPhones within the first week. The results of an online survey conducted from August 21-30 suggest that 21% of online shoppers will purchase the iPhone 5.

I must say, that I have been waiting for this news for a very long time. Just like with every new Apple product, there have been updated rumors of its release date and features for months now. Each and every one of them I wanted to believe, but knew not to in order to spare my feelings. What is expected of the iPhone 5 is a larger screen, a smaller charging port, upgraded camera, and fixed bugs on Siri.

We of course, will see the iPhone in all of its new glory next week. Are you someone like me who has been waiting to turn in their old smartphone for the release of the iPhone 5?
