It didn't take long on Wednesday for a line to snake around outside one New Jersey coffee shop, as serious "Gilmore Girls" fans waited for their Stars Hollow fix.

Leading up to the Netflix revival of the hit show, about 200 coffee shops were transformed for a day into Luke's Diner pop ups. Short Grain in Jersey City was the spot for Garden State fans lucky enough to be within trudging distance at 7 a.m.

Aside from the lone Jersey spot, a handful of shops in Philadelphia and New York City also got the Luke's treatment.

And yes, the show's creators even updated the cranky character's infamous "no cell phones" rule:

If you're like me, a devout Gilmore fan unable to drop everything for the one-day pop ups, you're probably bummed. But, we *do* have a new 'featurette' from Netflix to cheer us up!

Remember, you can brew all the coffee you want at home- to get through the four-episode revival when it hits Netflix next month. And maybe 'next time', Luke and the Stars Hollow crew could spread the love to a couple more Jersey coffee shops?
