It’s Awkward Hug Day! Dennis celebrates … awkwardly (WATCH)

As I walked into work, I saw that #AwkwardHugDay was marked on the calendar for Friday in the screener's room. I had no idea this holiday existed (and we can find limited evidence it really does), but I decided to test it out with the people I work with.

It went about as well as you would expect.

I walked around the sales area and hugged three of our young employees, who seemed quite confused as to what I was doing. Our Brand Manager Eric Johnson seemed uncomfortable when I hugged him — mission accomplished!

But no hug was as awkward as one I gave one of our on-air hosts. I bet you can guess who that may be.
