It’s an official world record!

You'll recall a couple of months ago I posted stories about Kyle Gurkovich, a New Jersey math teacher, who was going to attempt to break the world record for most pull ups in a 24 hour period. The last I reported on this, he had unofficially done it with 4,182 even with having been sick with stomach flu the days leading up to the attempt and having torn something in his forearm at about a thousand in.

Now I'm happy to report IT IS OFFICIAL! The Guinness Book of World Records has officially recognized New Jersey's own Kyle Gurkovich as the one man on the planet who has done more pull ups in a 24 hour period than any other. Kyle did this to draw attention to and raise money for cancer research after a student at his school lost his life after a long battle. You can see Kyle on morning TV featured on an upcoming Fox & Friends on August 7th. Congrats Kyle!
