Gov. Chris Christie isn't on the ballot this year, but he may be facing the most critical election day of his career on Nov. 4.

As the chairman of the Republican Governors Association, Christie has shown he can raise piles of money for gubernatorial candidates throughout the country.  But it remains to be seen if that will translate into wins for those candidates.

In addition to raising funds, Christie has also raised his profile by campaigning for candidates in Iowa, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio and other states.

Christie plans to take his second trip to Maryland today to support Republican Larry Hogan's bid for governor. In September, Christie helped raise over $400,000 at a fundraiser for Hogan in Bethesda.

On Monday, Christie make his third campaign stop for Colorado Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez.

If Christie's candidates win, it could be another strong argument that Christie is the most electable Republican for president.
