During the 8am hour today, Eric Scott was discussing the ongoing battle of gay marriage in NJ.

Eric asked the listeners if NJ needs to end the debate and put the topic of gay marriage on the ballot come November.

Many callers mentioned that they had more of an issue with the idea of calling it marriage. If you have a problem with the word marriage, take that component out of it. Make it a civil union for everyone unless you are getting married in a church.

Governor Christie said last week on 'Ask the Governor' that he doesn't agree with gay marriage but if it were a law, he would enforce it just like anything else.

So is it time to put the idea of gay marriage up for a vote in November? Take our poll and let us know what you think.
