First there was Day Without Immigrants. Now we have Day Without A Woman. It's supposed to show the economic and societal impact of women by having women go on strike for one day. Wednesday's women's strike is organized by the same people who organized the Women's March back in January.

Part of a statement by the group reads, "When millions of us stood together in January, we saw clearly that our army of love greatly outnumbers that of fear, greed and hatred. Let's raise our voices together again, to say that women’s rights are human rights, regardless of a woman’s race, ethnicity, religion, immigration status, sexual identity, gender expression, economic status, age or disability."

Okay, this can't just end here. I shared my thoughts in this video.
