Is Cheerleading a sport? -poll

Dennis and Judi were surprised to hear that there is proposed legislation that would make cheerleading a sport.

Dennis and Judi spent the better part of the hour debating whether cheerleading should be considered a sport or not. While the main discussion probably should be whether our legislators should be spending their time trying to pass laws that would make cheerleading an official sport in NJ, that really became secondary when Dennis and Judi were discussing it.

Figure skating, gymnastics, wrestling and even boxing to some extent, were all sports that callers related to cheerleading. Dennis and Judi didn't believe cheerleading is or should be considered a sport. For Dennis and Judi, they believed the cutoff to calling things a sport, is golf. After that, anything else. should not be considered a sport.
