Farrell Corrway also will have to serve 10 years of supervised release once he's freed from prison. The 29-year-old Corrway, who was sentenced Wednesday, had pleaded guilty in May to transportation of child pornography.

Federal prosecutors say Corrway was under investigation by the FBI in Buffalo, N.Y., when law enforcement officers learned he was planning to leave the country in September 2010. Customs agents at Newark Liberty International Airport eventually found the child pornography images on an external hard drive while searching Corrway.
