At a candlelight vigil on Sunday night Joan Colbert was remembered as a nice person.

"Anybody need anything, she would help them, give them what they needed" her sister-in-law Jeannette Colbert told News 12 New Jersey.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office identified Joan and 10-year-old Veronica Roach as the victims and ruled their deaths a homicide following a weekend autopsy. A 9-1-1 call was received by Long Branch Police on Friday afternoon shortly before they were found dead inside the Lippincott Avenue apartment.

A $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those involved in their murder has been posted by Monmouth County Crimestoppers.

Information can be given by calling the Prosecutor's Office at 732-577-8700, Long Branch Police at 732-222-1000 or to Crimestoppers by texting MONMOUTH and their tip to 274637.
