With internet gaming coming to the Garden State, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has created a new webpage addressing frequently asked questions about gambling on the internet.

“The Division of Gaming Enforcement is fully committed to a robust Internet gaming system in New Jersey that promotes public confidence in the effectiveness and integrity of the regulatory process and oversight of gaming operations,” said Director David Rebuck.

The FAQs page addresses the approval process for Internet gaming licenses and gaming products, and outlines the objectives of the Division.

The Division is requiring each casino that intends to participate in Internet gaming to submit a detailed request to obtain an Internet Gaming Permit no later than June 30, 2013.

The deadline for filing completed licensing applications for all vendors is July 29, 2013.

Rebuck added, "This filing deadline for completed applications for licensure will allow the Division time to complete the investigation and make an expedient determination of suitability for Internet providers and ancillary companies to commence Internet gaming.  Entities that do not meet this deadline will have their proposals considered as received.”
