The violent storms that ravaged the Midwest and South have claimed another victim.

An Indiana toddler, found in a field after a tornado destroyed her family's mobile home, died Sunday after being taken off life support. Her father, mother and two siblings were killed in the storm.

Her grandfather says 15-month-old Angel Babcock "has been reunited with her parents."

The girl's death brings the overall toll from Friday's storms to 39 across five states.
Kentucky has suffered the most fatalities with 21. Indiana has lost 13 people. There were three deaths in Ohio, and one each in Alabama and Georgia.

Rescuers are still going door-to-door in rural areas to rule out more victims.

In hard-hit Henryville, Ind., on Sunday, people gathered to worship, comb through piles of debris and learn what happened to loved ones and friends, often without modern technology to help.

Cellphone signals have been hard to find, the Internet has been out and electricity indefinitely interrupted.
