This video might be hard for some to watch. It happened at an intersection in Kansas City, Missouri between a motorcycle and an SUV. You'll clearly see the motorcycle has the green light and is going straight vs. the SUV turning left in front of him, so the motorcycle has the right of way. The SUV turns directly into the motorcycle's path and you can see for yourself here what the result is.

Miraculously, the biker walked away. Britt Hamilton, 20 years old, can't believe he's alive. "I hit, and then went numb for a second. Then I started to feel pain," he said. Hamilton said he hit his brakes, but it was too late. "I had a green light. I guess she got scared and slammed on the brakes," he said. The video shows the intense impact, Hamilton's shoe flew off his foot, and he was thrown from his bike. "My wrist is swollen. My lip is messed up a little bit. I got a little knot on my leg," Hamilton said. "I'm surprised I didn't get a broken bone or something." The bike actually looks OK from far away, but Hamilton said it has some major damage. "The frame is pushed up into the engine, cracked radiator. It pushed the gas tank into the back seat."

He says he wants people to watch this video to make them more aware of the vulnerability of motorcycles and hopes drivers will watch out for them more as a result.
